Why did they hire EMMA?
Moving on from an early start-up Healx recognised that they needed some management and executive support to enable them to maintain the pace and sustain their next growth phase.
What did EMMA do and how did matter to Healx?
Our journey with Healx started with a fact-finding meeting with the Founder and CEO, the purpose of which was to identify the current pain points such as time efficiency, costs, business structure and functional support. From the initial meeting we identified several ways to instantly support Healx presenting them with solutions to their challenges.
The priority was to provide Healx with a highly experienced Executive Assistant to help the Founder and CEO organise his time more effectively, prioritise his daily workload, from organising internal meetings with the team to supporting the strategic planning process. Having an experienced executive assistant who could instantly support the team with exceptional commercial understanding was immensely important to the rapid growth of their business.
As we got to learn more about their business and become actively involved in the day to day operational planning, we were asked to support in other areas, such as providing HR administration for recruitment and onboarding of new employees, we also helped them set up and manage their bi-monthly board meetings with principal investors.
We are now three years on, and EMMA continues to provide Healx with a full-time integrated support from C-level to day to day admin. Our virtual model really works well, though our executive support will also work on a regular basis from their office in Cambridge, a seamless integration, EMMA is now very much an integral part of the Healx team.
